Focus on livelihood, Bengal Muslims split over electoral choice

Murshidabad, with a 66.27% Muslim population, accounts for the highest migration among all districts in West Bengal. This time, in the absence of any overriding communal issue, minority votes are likely to be divided between the two perceived secular formations — the TMC and the Left Front-Congress combine — as the community gives more emphasis to livelihood issues.
