Fog covers Delhi as temperature drops to 5°C, air quality 'severe'

A layer of fog covered parts of Delhi on Wednesday morning as the minimum temperature fell to 5°C, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Meanwhile, the air quality in the national capital remained in the "severe" category, with the overall AQI recorded at 442 at 8 am. Notably, GRAP-IV anti-pollution measures have also been reimposed in the Delhi-NCR region.
