Food court in Telangana fines diners if they waste food

Lingala Kedari Food Court, an eatery in Telangana's Warangal, levies a penalty on its diners for wasting their food. Display boards at the eatery caution customers that those leaving behind food would have to pay a fine of ₹50 per plate. The restaurant's owner said that he has collected ₹14,000 so far and wants to donate it to an orphanage.
