Food delivery rider wins China’s top literary award for poems

Chinese food delivery rider Wang Jibing has won the Lu Xun Literary Prize, one of the country's most prestigious literary awards, for his poetry collection Low Flight. The collection contains poems he scribbled on slips of paper between food deliveries. His work is inspired by the struggles, aspirations and resilience of food delivery workers in China's rapidly expanding gig economy.
