Foodpanda India may buy defunct food startup Holachef

Ola-owned online food ordering and delivery startup Foodpanda India is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire Mumbai-based defunct food startup Holachef. The talks are for a distress sale under which Foodpanda India is expected to acquire Holachef's staff, brand name and kitchen equipment. Holachef, which reportedly shut shop three months ago, had raised a total of $9.6 million in funding.
