Foolish idea: Congress on Maharashtra mandating Marathi for auto drivers

Congress MLA Nana Patole on Saturday slammed the Maharashtra government's move to make Marathi mandatory for all auto and taxi drivers in the state, calling it "nothing but a foolish idea". Patole said this was an "attempt to break Maharashtra based on language and destroy its heritage." Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asim Azmi also slammed the state governmemt's decision.
