Conservationists in Minnesota, US requested public to stop releasing pet goldfish into water bodies. Burnsville city shared images of 'football-sized' goldfish discovered in a local lake. "Please consider other options for finding them...new home," the Facebook post read. When the domestic fish are in the wild and have enough food sources, they continue to grow and become invasive species.
