Footwear chain Aldo Group files for bankruptcy in Canada

Footwear retailer Aldo Group has filed for bankruptcy protection in its home country Canada to stabilise the business. The company is developing a restructuring plan and said it's looking to avail the same protection in US and Switzerland. "The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has put too much pressure on our business and our cash flows," CEO David Bensadoun said.
