For ₹100 given, K’taka gets ₹13 from Centre: Priyank Kharge

Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge criticised the Centre at Dakshin Dialogues 2026 over what he called unfair tax devolution, saying Karnataka receives just ₹13 for every ₹100 it contributes. He said northern states such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar get between ₹282 and ₹333. Kharge also flagged shortfalls under the Jal Jeevan Mission and alleged ₹2,500 crore was withheld for rural development.
