For the first time, India has more rural internet users than urban: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speaking at 'India Ideas Summit' said for the first time ever, India now has more rural internet users than urban. "India is emerging as a land of opportunities," he added. Notably, a study conducted by IAMAI and Nielsen revealed that there are 227 million internet users in rural areas and 205 million in urban areas.
