Automaker company Ford on Thursday announced that it has acquired US-based electric scooter startup Spin to provide first and last mile transport solution. "Spin is an important step towards realising our ambitious vision for the future of urban mobility," the automaker said in a statement. While Ford didn't reveal the terms, the deal was reportedly pegged close to $100 million.
