Ford CEO Jim Hackett to retire, will be replaced by COO Jim Farley

Ford Motor has announced that its President and CEO Jim Hackett will be retiring and he will be replaced by its COO Jim Farley. It added that Farley will assume his new roles on October 1. Hackett, who has led the company's transformation since 2017, will continue as a special advisor to Ford through March of 2021.
