Ford fires worker for allegedly stealing chips, biscuits worth ₹770 in US

Ford fired a worker after accusing him of stealing Doritos and Ritz crackers worth under $8 (around ₹770). The worker said surveillance footage showed him scanning the snacks and tapping his debit card, but the transaction timed out. Ford, which earlier dismissed another worker over a ₹188 cookie, said it's reviewing reported issues involving Aramark-operated self-checkout kiosks at US factories.
