Foreign currency worth ₹1.48 crore in sweet boxes seized in Hyderabad

Two people were arrested from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad on Monday after they were found trying to smuggle illegally collected foreign currency notes worth about ₹1.48 crore. They had wrapped the notes in false bottoms created in sweet and biscuit boxes. They were scheduled to fly to Dubai from Hyderabad.
