Foreign investors invest ₹30,945 cr in equities in May so far
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have invested ₹30,945 crore in Indian equities in May so far, according to data from depositories. With this, net inflows by FPIs so far this year reached ₹16,365 crore. The surge in investment by FPIs in India comes amid falling valuations of stocks and prospect of reducing interest rates.
