Forest department rescues 155 live flap-shelled turtles in Odisha

Odisha's Malkangiri Forest Department rescued 155 live flap-shelled turtles on Wednesday after intercepting a three-wheeler near Tamasa village during a patrol based on a tip-off. The turtles were being illegally transported, and the department is now searching for the person involved in this smuggling. The rescued turtles have been taken into the forest department’s custody.
