Forest fires in Nainital, Pauri Garhwal mostly man-made: Forest dept

Fires that have been raging in the forests of Nainital and Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand were mostly man-made, state forest department said on Sunday. The blaze had been brought under control in several areas, officials said. Meanwhile, the forest department team identified and arrested at least three people responsible for causing the fire. Firefighting operation is underway in some areas.
