Former ADGP Amrit Paul arrested in Karnataka PSI recruitment scam case

Criminal Investigation Department arrested former Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Amrit Paul, in Bengaluru in connection with the 2021 Karnataka police sub-inspectors (PSI) recruitment scam. He has been sent to police custody for 10 days. Paul was the head of police recruitment cell when the scam broke out in which OMR sheets were allegedly tampered with in the office.
