Former anti-corruption body head KV Chowdary joins Reliance board

Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries has appointed former Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) KV Chowdary as a non-executive additional director. A 1978-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, Chowdary served as the CVC from June 2015 to June 2019. He had also served as the Chairperson of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), the policy-making body of the Income Tax Department.
