Former attorney general GE Vahanvati passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday due to heart attack at the age of 65. Vahanvati was suffering from a lung infection from some time and was admitted to a city hospital. He was the 13th AG of India from June 2009 and resigned on May 27 this year.
