Former Australian cricketer Aaron Summers faces jail for child sexual abuse

Former Australian cricketer Aaron Summers has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to child sexual abuse offences linked to a 2018 Tasmania incident. The 30-year-old, who represented Hobart Hurricanes and Tasmania, pleaded guilty to two counts of penetrative sexual abuse of a child and one grooming charge. He faces jail and will be sentenced in August.
