Former DMK leader Jaffer Sadiq remanded to judicial custody

A Chennai court on Monday, remanded sacked DMK functionary Jaffer Sadiq to judicial custody till July 29, in a money laundering case registered against him by ED. Sadiq was involved in a case involving drug trafficking and money laundering. It is claimed that Sadiq was taken into custody by the NCB for his alleged involvement in the smuggling of pseudoephedrine.
