Former Gujarat BJP minister Chauhan joins Congress ahead of polls

Ex-BJP minister Prabhatsinh Chauhan joined the Congress in Fagvel, Gujarat on Tuesday ahead of the upcoming state Assembly elections. Chauhan was a BJP MP from Panchmahal from 2009-19 and also, a tribal development minister from 2004-07 in the BJP-run Gujarat state government. "BJP has failed in Gujarat. The party is not going to win future elections," the 81-year-old politician said.
