Former Indian women's hockey team captain Rani Rampal retires at 29

Former Indian women's hockey team captain Rani Rampal has announced her retirement from the sport. The 29-year-old played for India in a career that spanned 16 years. Rani scored 205 goals in 254 international matches. She was honoured with the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award in 2020.
