Former Kerala MLA & Congress leader K Mohammed passes away aged 76

Former Kerala MLA K Mohammed Ali passed away at a hospital in Kochi on Tuesday at the age of 76. The veteran Congress leader was under treatment for kidney-related ailments. Ali, who had entered mainstream politics through Congress' students' wing Kerala Students Union, won the Assembly polls consecutively from 1980-2006 and represented the Aluva constituency in the House six times.
