Former K'taka CM HD Kumaraswamy wins from Mandya Lok Sabha seat

Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has won Lok Sabha elections from Mandya constituency against Congress' Venkataramane Gowda (Star Chandru) by 2.84 lakh votes. The JD(S) leader won 8.51 lakh votes while Star Chandru won 5.67 lakh votes. Independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh had won from Mandya during the previous elections but later joined BJP decided to not contest current polls.
