Former MP G Vivek resigns from BJP, joins Congress in Telangana

Former MP G Vivek Venkatswamy on Wednesday resigned from BJP and joined Congress ahead of upcoming Telangana Assembly election. In his resignation letter, Vivek said, "With a heavy heart, I tender my resignation from BJP. Thank you for your support during my tenure." He joined Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi. Vivek was Chairman of Telangana BJP's Manifesto Committee.
