Former Nawanshahr Congress MLA's aide shot dead in Punjab

An aide of former Nawanshahr Congress MLA Angad Singh Saini was shot dead at a petrol station in Punjab's Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, police said. The victim, identified as Makhan Singh, was shot 20 times with different weapons, police added. The incident took place when Singh was going to his in-laws' place, police further said.
