Former nuns marry each other in civil ceremony in Italy

Two former nuns married each other in a civil union this week in the Italian town of Pinerolo, after falling in love while working at a rehabilitation centre for drug addicts. Federica and Isabel, who had been in a relationship for three years, also notified the Vatican and renounced their vocation. The brides said they have not lost their faith.
