Former Punjab minister Bhagat Chunni Lal passes away

Former Punjab minister Bhagat Chunni Lal passed away at 93 on Thursday, his son and Cabinet minister Mohinder Bhagat said. Lal breathed his last at his home in Jalandhar. The Punjab government declared a half-day holiday following his death. Lal served as a Cabinet minister in the SAD-BJP government in 2012, handling Local Government and Medical Education & Research.
