Former RCB batter Mohammed Azharuddeen named South Zone captain

Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Mohammed Azharuddeen was named as captain of the South Zone for Duleep Trophy 2025 semi-final. Azharuddeen, who was initially named vice captain to Tilak Varma, got this opportunity, as Tilak was included in India's Asia Cup squad.
