Former SC judge Deepak Verma gives evidence in favour of fugitive Nirav Modi in UK

Supreme Court Justice (retired) Deepak Verma gave evidence in favour of fugitive jeweller Nirav Modi in a London court as the latter sought the reopening of his "extradition" case. The Indian government has given assurance that Modi won't be questioned by Indian agencies. However, Verma told the court that he's "highly likely to be interrogated" if he is extradited.
