Former Spain and Barcelona footballer Andres Iniesta retires at 40

Former Spain and Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta on Tuesday announced his retirement from football at the age of 40. He played 131 matches for the national team and featured in 680 matches for Barcelona, scoring 57 goals. "I never thought this day would come. I never imagined it," he added. He was part of 2010 FIFA World Cup-winning Spanish team.
