Former US Marine Daniel Penny hired by a16z months after acquittal in subway chokehold death

Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has hired former US Marine Daniel Penny as an investor less than two months after he was acquitted in the subway chokehold death of a homeless man named Jordan Neely. Penny had held Neely in a chokehold, with Neely being later pronounced dead. Penny was found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide.
