'Fortnite' maker Epic Games lays off 900 employees

Fortnite game's maker Epic Games is laying off around 900 employees that make up 16% of the company's workforce. "For a while now, we've been spending way more money than we earn," CEO Tim Sweeney said in an e-mail to employees. "Layoffs are the only way, and doing them now and on this scale will stabilise our finances," he added.
