Remains of small armour-plated dinosaur discovered in Argentina
The remains of a small armoured dinosaur that lived about 100 million years ago were discovered in Argentina. It likely walked upright on its back legs and weighed as much as a pet cat. Named Jakapil kaniukura, the dinosaur would have been well-protected with rows of bony disk-shaped armour along its neck and back, down to its tail, researchers said.
