Fought BJP & Cong: BJP's Atanasio Monserrate who defeated Parrikar's son

BJP's Atanasio Monserrate on Thursday defeated late Goa CM Manohar Parrikar's son Utpal Parrikar from the Panaji constituency. He said, "I fought the unofficial candidate of the BJP (Utpal) as well as the Congress." He claimed the BJP cadre hasn't accepted him which is why Utpal got so many votes. "The BJP leadership...didn't manage to do damage control," he added.
