Founder of Mughal Empire Babar died on this day

Zahir-ud-din Muhammad Babur, popularly known as Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire which was the largest dynasty India ever witnessed, died on December 26, 1530, at the age of 47. He was succeeded by his eldest son Humayun. As per his wishes, he was buried in Kabul, Afghanistan. Babur is considered a national hero in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
