Foxconn, HCL can launch UP's 1st semiconductor factory

Uttar Pradesh might soon get its first semiconductor outsourced assembly and testing (OSAT) unit as Foxconn and HCL Group have been allotted 30 acres of land in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. With incentives from the Uttar Pradesh Semiconductor Policy 2024 and strategic advantages, HCL has chosen UP for this critical project.
