Taiwan-based Foxconn and Pegatron are among the firms that are considering new factories in Mexico amid US-China trade war and COVID-19, Reuters reported. iPhone-maker Foxconn has plans to use the factory to make iPhones. However, a source told Reuters Apple isn't directly involved in the plan yet. Another source said Foxconn has contacted the Mexican government.
