Foxconn, Vietnam's VinFast discuss electric car parts development

Foxconn is in talks with Vietnam's electric-vehicle startup VinFast about working together and potential partnership on developing batteries and electric car parts, Reuters reported. Foxconn has proposed acquiring EV production lines owned by VinFast, but VinFast prefers a partnership. "Vingroup has received proposals from Foxconn but nothing is concrete yet," a VinFast spokesman said.
