FPI outflow reaches ₹63,000 crore in 1st half of June: Report

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have pulled out about ₹63,000 crore from Indian equities in the first half of June 2026, PTI reported. This comes amid global uncertainty, ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia, and a falling rupee against the US dollar. FPI withdrawals in 2026 have already crossed ₹2.87 lakh crore, surging past last year's total of ₹1.66 lakh crore.
