FPIs turn buyers for 2nd straight month, invest ₹30,920 cr in Aug

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) invested ₹30,920 crore in Indian equities in August, marking their second consecutive month of buying. The inflow follows ₹20,200 crore invested in July and reverses four months of heavy selling earlier this year. The positive shift has been attributed to improving corporate earnings, a stable rupee and easing geopolitical concerns in Indian markets.
