France appeal to FIFA over Olise's yellow card vs Paraguay: Report

France's football federation has appealed to FIFA to rescind the yellow card shown to Michael Olise during their FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16 win over Paraguay, ESPN reported. Olise was booked after an altercation with Paraguay's Matías Galarza. The Paraguay midfielder fell holding his face after the exchange, but replays appeared to show Olise only grabbing his shirt.
