France's lower house passes bill to ban social media for under-15s

France's National Assembly on Monday passed legislation to ban children under 15 years of age from social media. The bill, which was passed by 116-23 votes, will now go to the Senate for approval before a final vote in the lower house. Praising the legislation, French President Emmanuel Macron said, "Our children's brains are not for sale."
