France to create space command within air force: Prez Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday said he approved the creation of a space command within the French air force to improve the country's defence capabilities. However, he said the investment involved was yet to be determined. Last year, US President Donald Trump's administration announced a plan to create a new 'Space Force' as the sixth branch of the military.
