France to face 4th major heatwave amid wildfire crisis

As France battles massive wildfires, the country is set to face its fourth major heatwave of the year from July 29, reports said. Temperatures are forecast to reach 32°C-35°C across much of France and 36°C-37°C in the southwestern part of the country. This comes after 5,764 excess deaths were recorded during the heatwave between June 17 and July 2.
