France to send military to help Saudi defend its Red Sea oil route: Macron

France will send its military resources to Saudi Arabia to help defend the Red Sea port ‌city of Yanbu, crucial for oil exports, from Houthi missile attacks. "We're going to send...soldiers, radar systems and defence systems...not to get us involved in any conflicts, but to protect this site," President Emmanuel ​Macron said, adding it has been finalised with Saudi authorities.
