France won't take part in ops to liberate Strait of Hormuz: Macron
French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday said the country would never take part in operations to liberate the Strait of Hormuz. "Once the main bombing has ceased, we are ready, along with other nations, to assume responsibility for the escort system," Macron added. Speaking about the war, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had earlier said, "This war isn't a NATO matter."
