Franchise-based Poker league to launch in India in 2017

A franchise-based Poker Sports League will be launched in India next year, featuring 12 teams of nine players each, competing for a prize money of ₹3.36 crore. The franchises, classified on a regional basis, will include teams from Delhi, Mumbai, Goa and Hyderabad among others. The league is being launched by Adda52.com founder Anuj Gupta along with two others.
